AnimationCity is an animation and production company created by YouTuber Mandalorian1428. It features several subdivisions, as found on YouTube, Wordpress, Blogger, and others.
History[]
Establishment and Origins[]
Mandalorian1428 created Ol' Bum-Bum in late 2007. Without the means of creating Ol' Bum-Bum into an actual show, an "ultimate guide" was written as if it were a real series. AnimationCity was founded as the production name in late 2011/early 2012.
The Ol' Bum-Bum Age[]
2007 - Present
During late 2007, the character Haliegh Kelly Myorgan was invented. Gradually, her storyline was pieced together, introducing Sally Firmbottom, Mellissa Deg, Abigail Nippu, and N.O. Waye. Since the means of creating it into a show were not available at the time, Mandalorian1428 wrote an "ultimate guide" treating it like it was a real show. For several years, stories, comics, and other media involving the characters were produced. In December, 2011, work began on "First Day of School" as an animated show. The trailer aired on December 31st, 2011.
It was not until a year later in December, 2012 that the series began airing specials on YouTube, starting with "Not So Merry Christmas".
The YouTube Era[]
2011 - 2012
In June, 2011, Mandalorian1428 joined YouTube (Mandalorian1428 being the username). The first AnimationCity Series to air online was AnimationCity World Wonders (first episode: "Is This UFO Sighting Real or Hoaxed?"), which quickly gained popularity among viewers. Nine days later, the series Matt and Dave began airing, and it would later become the longest-running series, with three years under its belt.
The Idea Era/The Golden Age[]
2011 - 2012 The YouTube Era sparked the Idea Era, where most of the shows in AnimationCity began. In September of 2011, the series Fledge Flodge came about, debuting with short stories such as Fledge Goes Swimming. The series soon entered the planning stage, and it has yet to air.
Continuing the Ol' Bum-Bum Age, the first trailer for the series aired on December 31st, 2011. It featured clips from "First Day of School".
2012 marked the dawn of AnimationCity's Golden Age, bringing in several new shows and content, such as Waffle and a Cheez Nut (March 1st), Top 20 Creepiest Haunted Places in America (April 12th), and Collisions (a story serial).
The Dawn of the Websites[]
Though AnimationCity dabbled in webdesign in the later half of 2011, August, 2012 had one of the biggest and most successful ventures to ever happen in AnimationCity: the founding of Ghostly World. The site dedicated itself to haunted places, abandonments, and ghost towns, and it continues to be one of the leading sources for such information. A number of other sites were founded as well, though their impact on the internet is much less significantly.
Another subfaction, known as Odd Fanfictions, sprung up in October, launching a classic film fanfiction entitled Collisions, which gained some notoriety. A YouTube channel by the same name was created to coincide with the website's content. It was decided in 2013 that the serial would be turned into a movie.
5/25/14 Attack[]

On May 25th, 2014, all of the Matt and Dave episodes were bombarded with dislikes. Mandalorian1428 believes that it was a deliberate attack on all of the videos rather than a simple disliking for the videos. Two dislikes were given per episode, making the attacks all the more suspicious. Episodes of Ol' Bum-Bum were also attacked. The identity of the 5/25 Attackers remain unknown, as do the motives behind the attack.

Gaming World[]

Gaming World is AnimationCity's gaming counterpart that focuses on game help and walkthroughs. Though at the moment it does not have a YouTube channel, it does have a number of websites and spinoffs in order to gain internet traction.
Ghostly World[]
Ghostly World is the paranormal branch of AnimationCity, and is considered the most popular AC spinoff to date. As a paranormal database, it is being put in motion to become the largest of its kind.
Odd Fanfictions[]
This site and YouTube channel features fanfictions and fanvideos by Mandalorian1428.

AnimationCity World Wonders[]
Videos and slideshows of nature, the world, and inventions. The series started in 2011, and it is the first AnimationCity show to air.
Fledge Flodge[]

Fledge Flodge is the story of a crazy, hyperactive jockey from Oregon. Episodes are driven by plots involving his sisters, Saulprene and Mazu-zu, and his friends, Carl Udle and Bobby Spaslheimer. The idea for the show came around in September, 2011 during the Idea Era. While the show has yet to air, it is the second most-developed plotline next to Ol' Bum-Bum.
Handy the Severed Hand and Company[]

Among a town of body parts, Handy Handington and his family aren't as strange as they seem. The first three pilot episodes were aired in June, 2011.
The Infection[]

Desmond McHale and a group of survivors must attempt to make it out of the apocalypse alive. The concept for The Infection came about in early 2012, but it has yet to air.
LEGO Pawn Stars[]

A LEGO stopmotion of the hit History Channel series Pawn Stars. So far, there has only been one episode (which was released in 2011).
LEGO Hatfields & McCoys[]

A LEGO stopmotion three-part miniseries of the History Channel series Hatfields & McCoys.
Matt and Dave[]

Two teenage boys, Matt Brillar and Dave Jackson, talk about school and friends. It is currently the longest airing show on AnimationCity, with three years and three seasons. It began in June, 2011.
Ol' Bum-Bum[]

Eight-year-old Haliegh Kelly Myorgan has lifelong struggles with her enormous rear-end, whom she adores and has affectionately named "Ol' Bum-Bum. The series has been planned and worked on since late 2007, and it is set to air in late summer, 2014.
Slidly Clump[]

Another product of the Idea Era, Slidly Clump is a show about a dumb and non-athletic boy whose father is extremely athletic.
Star Wars: The Galaxy Wars[]

The Galaxy Wars rage throughout the galaxy, forcing planets to take a side in the war. Star Wars: The Galaxy Wars is a fanon twist on Star Wars.
Stupid Stickman[]

Various comical situations take place, forcing Stupid Stickman to deal with them. The show was started in 2012, and episodes were made on a whim.
